Call for Papers – Special Issue: Innovation in Agricultural Information Sensing Technologies
  • Sensors are the core foundation for achieving full-domain perception and full-process control in agricultural production. To meet the demands of digitalization, intelligentization, and green transformation in modern agriculture, and focusing on key directions such as high-sensitivity photoelectric sensing, micro-nano sensing, multi-modal fusion perception, and in-situ spectral detection, it is essential to overcome technical bottlenecks including low information acquisition accuracy, slow response, and insufficient stability in complex scenarios such as farmland soils, water bodies, and agricultural gas emissions. This holds significant scientific value and practical importance for enhancing agricultural environmental monitoring, efficient resource utilization, greenhouse gas emission reduction, and agricultural product safety control. Advancing innovations in novel sensing devices, intelligent monitoring equipment, and system integration will not only consolidate the foundational perception capabilities of smart agriculture but also provide key technological support for precision agriculture, digital village construction, and high-quality agricultural development. To highlight new achievements in this field, our journal plans to organize a special issue on "Innovation in Agricultural Information Sensing Technologies" and is now issuing an open call for papers. The special issue is scheduled for publication in Issue 1, 2027 (January 31). We have specially invited Researcher Daming Dong of the Intelligent Equipment Technology Research Center of the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences to serve as the guest editor. We welcome submissions of original research and high-quality review papers.
