Journal is included in the core database of the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD)

• Recently, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Documentation and Information Center released the report on the selection of journals from the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) for the 2023-2024 period. Smart Agriculture has successfully been included in the core collection of the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD)!

  

  
  This represents another significant achievement following the journal's recognition as a "Chinese Science and Technology Core Journal" and a "Chinese Agriculture and Forestry Core Journal," and it plays a crucial role in enhancing the academic level and influence of the journal.
  
  The successful inclusion of the journal in the core collection of the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) is inseparable from the strong support and assistance of the competent hosting units, editorial board members, authors, reviewers, and the vast readership.   Note: The CSCD was established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences Documentation and Information Center in 1989 and has since developed into one of the most influential scientific citation databases in China. It is the first non-English language database on the Web of Science platform. Journals from the CSCD source are selected every two years. For the 2023-2024 period, a total of 1339 journals were included (995 in the core collection and 344 in the extended collection), with 316 English-language journals and 1023 Chinese-language journals published in China. The selection process combines quantitative and qualitative methods, with quantitative data coming from the Chinese Science Citation Database and qualitative evaluation conducted by inviting domestic experts to assess the journals. Research papers published in core journals selected by the CSCD are considered to have high academic quality, wide dissemination, significant influence, comprehensive coverage, and guiding value, and have been recognized by the scientific community both domestically and internationally over the years.
